Ok. I am setting up a dashboard for the executive sponsors. Each executive has 7 - 10 projects under them - one dashboard for each executive with each of their projects on it.
I want to use an "editable free text field" that I can put on the dashboard for each project where the project lead can articulate - what they did last week / what they are doing this week and what they will do next week.
I cannot find a dashboard widget that will allow others to edit on the dashboard. I have the html text field - but no one else can edit the field.
Hello Robb,
Unfortunately, there is no Gadget with this kind of functionality.
The best we can recommend you would be to post the text on Confluence and then use the Confluence Gadget to publish it on JIRA Dashboard or use the plugin Custom Content for Jira, that allows you to add images and web pages to your Dashboard.
@Petter Gonçalves Ok I have tried this in my pre-prod JIRA environment and I cannot get to my pre-prod confluence page. I can get to JIRA dashboards - (meaning I can put another JIRA dashboard in that window) but not Confluence. Any ideas?

Hello Robb,
Can you please give us more details about which of the two options I suggest you have tried and where you are blocked exactly?
If possible, provide us any screenshots so we can better understand what is happening.

Ok we are using the Custom Content from JIRA. I cannot access the Confluence pages. The browser is telling me there is an issue - that it cannot display the wiki in a frame because an ancestor violates the following content security policy directive "frame-ancestors 'self" I think this is related to a setting that does not allow iFrames from confluence
