Only search for stories on the board

Gemma Wooden March 27, 2019

Hi,

I'm trying to run an advanced query that only returns items that have been moved up to the board, however items in the first column of the board and items in the backlog have the same status so I can't see a way to distinguish the two.

Is there anyway to ignore all items that are still on the backlog?

Thanks

Gem

Hello @Gemma Wooden

When the issues are moved up in the backlog then the global rank of the issue changes, currently in JQL you can't run history search for Rank field of the issues.

I have a related question -- is there any way when looking at an issue to tell if it is on the backlog or on the board? As Gemma noted, items in the backlog have the same status as the first column, so status alone isn't enough.
