Project Configurator must be installed on both the source and target instances, however a license is only required for the target instance.
What does this mean in practice?
Hi @Helen Ahlberg !
You dont need a paid license in order to perform an export in your source Jira instance. However, when performing import into your Production Jira instance (target) you need a paid license.
Hope this helps, ask if anything.

Hi
Thank you for yout swift answer BUT
I want to try this out in both ends before taking a descision.
I have free trial in two instances and I can as you say export correctly in my production environment but now I cannot do this in full because when trying to import in my test environmnet I get that my license has expired.
How can I assure that this works as intended and see the result without first getting a full license?
regards,
Helen

Hi Helen!
I think your Evaluation license of Project Configurator has expired. With expired license, you can't perform an import.

Hi
But I have just installed the Free Trial add-on???
Your trial has expired. Buy a license for this add-on.
I have never used this Add-on before today...
