Hi all,

I was thinking about triggering functions from search results. Is there a way to add a button (as fragment) to the search results which, for example, would trigger an event on all issues in the result?

thanks
Thomas

Currently the easiest way to do it is to save the search as a filter and then in the "Built-in scripts" section of the script runner plugin there is a functionality called "Generate Events".

In this "Generate events" you can mention the event you want to generate and the filter ID.

That´s a nice way to go for a Jira admin.
Unfortunately we need this to be triggered by users, or project leads.
