Hi

I have a test server Jira software with a trial license key.

I have a complete SQL backup of our Jira software production to test restoring on this trial server. And after restoring I have :

"

License Too Old For Build: We found a problem with your JIRA license

Your current Jira Software license doesn't allow you to upgrade to this version of JIRA (8.1.0). Jira Software expired on 02/Apr/19 3:00 PM, and you can currently only upgrade to versions released prior to this date. Alternatively you can renew your license at my.atlassian.com which will allow you to upgrade to this version of JIRA (8.1.0). You can enter your new license here.
See our documentation for more information on licensing errors."

Then I suppose that server ID and/or license is not equal between bdd and something else!

Not sure why you commented on an unrelated, 3 year old, question there, but hey.

This is exactly what it says it is.  Your licence ended in 2019, well before the release of Jira 8.1, and the licence only entitles you to use versions released up until the end of the licence time.

What you should do is:

  • Install a new version of Jira of the same version you are currently on (the version you took the backup of)
  • Restore the database into the new copy
  • Get a new licence
  • Upgrade the new copy to the version you want to use (I'd recommend 8.13 as the latest LTS)
