Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 21:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×One of my engineers was cleaning up their sprints and wasn't able to close the sprint. I noticed that the start and end dates were 06/Oct/08 to 18/Oct/12. When I change the Start and End dates, in this order, I get a message that says the sprint duration is too long. If I change the dates End to start, basically left to right, I get a message that says "The start date of a sprint must be before the end date.".
Has anyone come across an issue like this in the past? I have a feeling that I'm going to need to modify the DB table entry, but I would like to see if there are any other methods of changing this information.
Jira Server 8.3.2
I've not come across this issue before, but as Jira is considering each change as a separate edit, could you try:
^ Never had a reason to try this, but in theory it might let you work up through the years and make the Start & End Dates correct as it's never too long or has an end date prior to the start.

That was a nifty suggestion and that did the trick. Thanks!

Awesome - if you could click the "Accept Answer" if this works so others know it's the right approach, that'd be great :)
