×Hello.
I've followed this documentation to create an automation rule (to receive a Slack message each time I'm mentionned in a comment):
But I cannot select a webhook url, the dropdown is showing "No options" while I've created an Automation rule secret pointing to the webhook url from the dedicated Slack App (simple creation to provide a webhook for my personnal account)
I've also tried to paste the webhook url from the App but it does not work either. Also note that our admin tried but without success (I asked him to check if it was a permission issue)
I would appreciate any help :-)
We've upgraded our Jira version to 9.4.24 IT confirmed that the Jira version has not been updated but it seems that the issue is partially fixed... Might be related to a sync-up issue between Slack and Jira.
Partially because now I can use a Global secret but after the publication of the rule I get this error message under the dropdown:
Provided URL is not present in Jira allowlist or request from anonymous users is not enabled.
Then I asked IT to update the allowlist and eveyrthing is OK now!
Hello! Can you describe a bit more how you resolved the issue? I'm having the same problem, Webhook URL does not populate in dropdown but I'm not sure how to setup the Global secret? Slack offers no option to setup any secret.

Hello, Good day. Are you using Jira cloud or Jira server version ?
If you are using Jira cloud then you can copy and paste the webhook URL from slack to Jira automation rule. Attaching screen shots for reference.

@Mohanraj Thangamuthu unfortunately this doesn't work on JSM DC. Maybe a bug?

Hello, Good day. Not sure on the JSM. Please move this query to JSM queue : https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/qa-p/jira-service-desk-questions
