Story point estimation and update remaning storypoints

Hi all, i would like to estimate US in story points, and update remaining story points for this US i cannot find anything in Jira in order to do that. Is this possible in jira?

Not directly, as it's not quite the right thing to do.

Story points should be added to a story as your team estimates them.  Whilst modifying them before they go into a sprint is fine, changing the story points once you've committed to doing them is bad practice as it stops you being able to report on what you've achieved or not.

That said, there's nothing wrong with updating as you go.  But that needs scripting or automation in Jira. 

I would

  • Use Story Points as intended (estimate them, don't change them unless an issue genuinely warrants a change, and leave Jira to do the work for you on reporting)
  • Create a new field for "partial number of SPs done"
  • Use one of the scripting/automation Apps to provide a numeric field that shows "(real) Story points - partial number"

that is a good script anyway , it cannnot reflect on the standar burndown chart ?

If you have numeric output from it (i.e. the calculation goes into a numeric field), then yes, you can show it on burndown, because you can set the estimation statistic to anything you want.

Of course, you still burn down on "story completed", as there's no partials in scrum.
