Swimlane tasks by stories

How can I Swimlane tasks by story. Currently I can only do it with sub-tasks under story

Currently I created tasks and relates (links) it to a story and in the Scrum Board I swimlane by Story, but when I checked the board tasks are not being grouped by story.

You can’t do this by linked tasks. You could consider by queries and use say labels  but that becomes very manual.

Hi @Jack Brickey

Do you have a sample query on how to do this? I'm currently linking tasks, bugs to a user story. And from the board I would like to swimlane the linked issues to a story.

So if, when linking an issue, you were to add a unique label in the linked issue, e.g. maybe using the linked-to story’s issuekey ABC-123 then you could create a query like...

labels = “ABC-123”

repeat for every story
