I currently use the Jira app and it has a very nice and accurate notifications of all issues being created, edited or deleted. I would like to ask if there is a way to remove notifications as sometimes my project manager moves more or less 50 issues from one column on the board to the other thus I am receiving also 50 issues in my email.
Thanks
When the PM performs a bulk change, there is a check box "Send mail for this update"
This is nice but what about comment discussions? If the comment of an issue has 25 lines, I also get 25 emails.
I really want email notifications off.

If you are an admin, then go into settings and either configure notifications or events and recipients.

I am sorry but it seems that I cannot assign Notification schemes to my project. The project setting is so simple. How do I expand other features.
Thanks

Hi Andrew,
The notifications and schemes are admin driven, a conversation with the PM and admin is the most direct route in my opinion. Change behaviours and adapt the rules.
A last resort could be to create an email rule to send JIRA emails to a mailbox/ folder and eliminate the extra noise.

At the American Academy of Family Physicians, siloed marketing teams faced delays and duplicate work. Kerrie Gottschalk shook things up by moving the department to Jira, streamlining processes, boosting visibility, and sparking stronger collaboration.
