Update Default fields on projects/issues

How do I alter the default fields on projects/issues in JIRA? Note; I'm set as an administrator.

What do you want to alter to the default fields?

Question is not clear to me.

Do you want to update the value of a field or the name or something else?

I'm trying to set it up so the fields become visible when an issue/ticket is created. IE Acceptance Criteria or Success Criteria under the Specifications tab.

Then you need to add them to the view screen.

You can always use the "where's my field" option under admin section in an issue.

Then you can see where you need to add something to get it working.
