count bugs number

hi team,

in my JIRA, when click : record issue", there will be 1 bugs created and and link to epic automatcally. i want to count the number of bugs linked to epic and fill in the number in field :activity number. i set ‘activity number" with {{"+1"}}, but it not works. can you help on it?

In your case, the value should be:

{{#increment}}{{issue.ActivityNumber.asNumber}}{{/}}

checked with the smart values, the field: activity number " remains blank after linked some bugs under epic, could you help check?

@oda mao is the initial value 0 ?

when there is no bugs linked under epic, the value remains blank, need i change the default value to 0?

yes, you should have a default 0 otherwise my code is not able to convert the initial value and increment it.

hi team,

after double check, field "activity number" could automatically count the number of "causes" rather “caused by"(see screenshot 1), but in my JIRA, bugs were created with "caused by", and "{{destinationIssue}}" was mentioned in "issue linked" explain, , could you help check?
