Is it possible to disabling the ability of a manager to allow the team to see each other’s timesheets in DC?

Hi @Ulrika Eriksson

The permission to view worklogs of other users in Tempo can be given either via the team permissions (View team worklogs) or JIRA project permissions (View all worklogs).

To prevent users from seeing the worklogs of their team members, you will need to make sure that they do not have the permission on project level.
Additionally, you need to make sure that members do not have permission to view the worklogs within their team.

Please take a look at

Thanks, but it is greyed out?

And if I changed in all projects and teams the setting in permission scheme, are the TLs able to approve the worklogs for team members then?

Hi @Ulrika Eriksson

The permission that is checked for the "Members" permission role is the "View team" permission. This permission can not be edited as it gives team members the option to see the team overview of their team.

Your screenshot show that members do not have the permission to "View Team worklogs". In case they can view the worklogs of other users, the permission seems to have been given via the "View all worklogs" permission for the project(s).

Changes to the permissions of the "Members" role do not affect the team lead. Team leaders have their own permissions within their teams and need to have the "Approve Timesheets" permission to view and approve work of members in their team.

Best regards,
Susanne

Changes to the permissions of the "Members" role do not affect the team lead.

Yes I understand that, but the question is that we don't want the TL to be able to change the settings/permissions for the members? Can this be done?

To prevent team leads to make changes to team permissions within their team, a user with "Tempo Team Administrator" permission needs to remove the "Manage team" permission from the Team lead.

The team lead can then no longer access the "Permissions" page for his team or add/ edit the members of his team.

But if I just want to remove the ability to remove the "Manage team" permission but want to keep the ability to dd/ edit the members of his team?

Is this possible in any way?
