We stated facing issues recently for 2 users. This was working before, now started failing. ay be after we moved the servers from Linux to Windows.
We are using "Data center". This occurs for 2 users. They are part of listed groups.
Both users able to tag other users in Chrome browser and not using FireFox in my machine, and not able to tag anyone in their machines using both browsers. All of us are using same version of Chrome.
I have the user added under "Assignable User", "Assign Issues" & "Browse Users" under "Global permission" section.

Yes, its added there. I made sure they were part of all three areas as I mentioned in my original post.

Hello @Mohanraj Thangamuthu , Yes, they have access to "Browse Projects". They are able to get into the issue across all the projects, just tagging is not working for them.

Yes. They are JSM as well as Jira software customers. Their name is in both groups which given access to both areas. Thanks for checking.

Today I found that, I am not able to see the user when I tried to use the feature "Switch user" functionality. However the user able to login- and perform every action in JIRA using the same ID except tagging user. user given access to Jira service Management as well as Jira Software license and it displays both application under his ID for access.
he is one of the Top level user and solving this would reduce lot of noise from top management. Appreciate any help.
