So during the development process we find escaped bugs
and the QA knows who is the developr that is going to fix it - so they assign the bug to that person, but they often forget to set also the "sprint" and another custom fields called "Team", so this bug does no appear on the scrum board of the team (as the filter is on the "Team")
how can I make "team" and "sprint" mandatory - when the bug is being assigned to a user.
thanks
Elly
There is no way to do this, there's nowhere to apply validators in the "assign to someone" process.
Also, you should never be setting a sprint like that. The sprint is decided by the team who are going to be executing it at the beginning of it.
Thanks for the answer.
actually the situation is that the team members between the different teams in the same department are talking and communicating really well.
so there is no "surprise task" assignment from team to team.
but we do have an issue with order - and some times they open a bug for other team and assign it to the member which agreed to fix it, but since they don't edit team + sprint.
you don't see it on team's board and you cannot track it
cant it be done by script? behavior? automation?
