Restoring from Cloud to Server

Nathan Fletcher February 4, 2016

We are in the process of migrating from JIRA Cloud to JIRA Server.  We have started building a new JIRA Service Desk project on JIRA Server but now want to restore all other projects from Cloud.  What is the best way of restoring specific elements from Cloud without overwriting specific projects on Server?

Hi,
one possible process could be the migration of the cloud instance to a temporary local instance with the same version of your current instance.

Then you can use the "Configuration Manager for JIRA" to export / import the project configurations from one server to the other.

After then you can import a single project, from a JIRA Backup.

Greetings,
Oliver

...But what if the JIRA Cloud is running a higher version (72002) than the available Server version (71006)? The import tool require the same version, but 7.2 is not available for download...
