Hi All,
I am in desperate need of help. Could anyone suggest how we can revert a Test cycle to its previous state? I accidentally reloaded the cycle and lost the entire work that was done,. Please let me know if there is a way to reinstate a previous version. Does the system keeps a back up of Cycles?
Hi Philin,
Thanks for taking synapseRT as your test management solution.
Sorry to hear that you did 'Reload' action for all test cases in the test cycle by mistake.
Unfortunately you cannot revert to previous state if you have already done 'Reload' action, it will clean all execution information(results, bug links...) and initialize execution states to 'Not Executed' for your test executions.

How have you implemented tests in Jira?
Which app? Or is it just an issue type?

Hi Nic,
Thanks for reply. The tests are done in Cycles and tested in JIRA.
so we have linked Requirement > Test cases > Test Suites to Test plans.
Within the Test plan we are creating Cycles.
Thanks Philin

We can't tell you a lot unless we we know what App you are using to generate these objects.

Jira does not do tests or cycles itself, most people add an App to do it.
You have added the Synapse App, which I'm not familiar enough with to answer your question. But I've added tags to hopefully attract someone who can help you.
