Secondary Panel in Structure

How can you remove the secondary panel in structure? i have a user who has enabled it but we cannot figure out how to remove it.

Hi Darryl,

It sounds like the search results panel is open. Try deleting anything you have typed into the search field in Structure, or click the Search button above it.
