Service Desk create forms paste UI bug

Hi,
it appears that at some recent in time point the text entry field of the SD create screen became a wysiwyg. It does however have bugs which don’t accept Command+V to paste text. It appears that pasting with the right click menu works, but not with command+V (can’t speak for windows ctrl+v).

Keyboard shortcut for pasting doesn't work in mac.

Is this a known issue? kindly someone help!!!

Hi, we are seeing the same issue for a month or so and we are running Jira Data Center 8.19.1 with Service Management 4.19.1

It's a known bug: JSDSERVER-7304

Affects Version/s: 4.15.0, 4.15.1, 4.17.0, 4.16.0, 4.17.1, 4.18.1, 4.18.2 and we can confirm it still happens on 4.19.1

It happens in the description field for new issues and existing issues in Firefox, not Chrome (can't confirm other browsers).

The workaround is to use the Firefox menu "Edit|Paste" or right-mouse click and "paste" so you can still paste information from your clipboard.
