Set "Resolution" field as optional

Hi,

Is it possible to set Resolution field as optional field? Checked in field configuration of the project, there are only Edit | Hide | Screen option.

Is this field is set as required by default since it's a system built-in field?

That's a bummer... I've hoped it was hidden in the Workflow validators, just like "Affects Verion/s" was (possible to make a system field optional then).
