Sprint Board: Card view with sub-tasks

Tom Lindley April 7, 2017

New to Jira and trying to understand the active sprint view. I think I have things configured properly and get the stories for the sprints in the columns for the workflow. However, if a story has sub-tasks, then the story shows as a single line at the top above the other stories. If I filter out sub-tasks them the cards display they way I want, but I can't see the sub-tasks in the detail pane.

Any help on how to configure this view to get my results would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @Tom Lindley,

This is because your Scrum board is set to swimlane by Story. Try changing the Swimlane to Epic or Query; this will then group by Epic or Query (i.e. project = High)
