Sprint Disappears

ChuckV April 17, 2014

Question regarding Sprints in Agile 6.1.6 Do sprints automatically end when the stop date/time occurs? I have had sprints disappear that still had active tasks...the tasks are stuck in the sprint and I am not able to move them to the backlog.

Hey there, Chuck.

When you mentioned that the sprint disappeared, did you double check in the AO_60DB71_SPRINT table whether the Sprint is still present? Under the CLOSED column, is it still showing f or t?

Also, does it occur in a specific Scrum board or is the same behaviour observed in other boards as well? As far as I am concerned, the Sprint will not be closed abruptly even after you reach the End Date. The sprint will be closed after you completed the sprint as per the following link below:

By default, any incomplete issues should be moved back to the Backlog. So, this is definitely a strange behaviour.
