Hi,
I am a user in our suppliers Jira and get email notifications as soon as a status is changed, a new label is created on the ticket and moved to another sprint which is too many emails for me. I would only want email notifications when I am mentioned in a ticket not for all other changes.
Hi Marielle,
a jira administrator need to correctly setup the notification scheme for the project. Take a look to the following article https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/creating-a-notification-scheme-776636401.html
Ciao,

Many answers to this type of question. It doesn't solve the issue. What would solve it is a way to group the emails every 1 minute or so and then send them uniquely by story. Then we would get one rather than one for a comment, one for a reassignment and one for a different status.

This would be a perfect soltuion. Many of our users do not like Jira anymore, because they are spammed. Especially with the new layout (sidebar) you are not having the possibility to modify many values at once, but send only one mail. Every change on the side bar will send a seperate notification. And by the way Jira Server is capable of that. There you can batch mails.

Your jira administrator can customise the email notification scheme for you. In the notification scheme admin can specify whom to send emails for various events in jira like : issue created , updated etc.
You can also remove yourself as watcher on the tickets, this will also reduce notifcation
