Use "Transition Issue" (new in 3.5.2) when creating an issue

Is there a way to use the new "transition issue" for the transition "create"? I have tried this post function in all sequences and had no success.

Since I have several post functions in the second workflow step (from OPEN to WAITING FOR APPROVAL), so is would be very laboriously to recreate these post functions on the "create" transition.
