I have assigned jira tickets to group , does all the users in group will receive notification or not as there is no default assignee.

How did you assignee issue to a group?
Do you use a custom group picker field for this?
Notification only happen if the assignee field is set, or you can create an automation to sent out emails to the users in the group.
The ticket cannot be assigned to a group, the ticket can only be assigned to a single user. However you can create custom group picker field and can assign to group and can put the relevant group in it, and as for the notification you have to add the group to the notification scheme on the Issue Updated Trigger or you can send an email via automation
