JIRA Cloud has several limitations compared to JIRA Server, being one of them that you cannot add your own JavaScript code.

Confluence Cloud has an addon that allows adding HTML and JavaScript on your pages:

Can I embed JavaScript in add-on and do the custom field's calculation in JIRA or Confluence?
