Where can I find instructions for upgrading Jira Software and Jira Core from 18.4 to 22.3

We are upgrading our Atlassian Suite of products and plugins to the latest versions.

We need to know the compatibilities associated with an upgrade from 18.4 to 22.3.  

We have Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, ScriptRunner for Jira, and a half dozen more plugins.

We heard that our SQL server would not be backwards compatible.  What version would be compatible?
