I have a story in Epic E that is assigned to user A, with a sub-task of the story assigned to user B.
I have a quick filter to only show issues assigned to user B.
My board is configured to show Epic swimlanes.
When I look at the unfiltered board, the story and its sub-task show up in the Epic E swimlane.
When I click on my user B quick filter, the sub-task assigned to user B is now in the "Issues without Epics" swimlane.
I believe the reason is because there's not any stories assigned to user B that are also in Epic E.
But since sub-task are supposed to inherit their epics from their stories, I would think that the sub-task should still show in Epic E even when the user filter is turned on.
This seems like a bug.
Thank you.
I also find this very annoying. Makes sub-tasks less useful.
This is extremely annoying, and is a known bug to Atlassian with a 'low priority'!

Agreed. Would be very nice if the epic label actually appeared next to a subtask since they're inheriting it anyway.

Still no solution about that!?
