I had changed the httpd certificate in my bamboo machine recently with new certificate given by 3rd party CA authority after updating the CA the link between Confluence and Bamboo serve is failing with the following error,
No response was received from the URL you entered - it may not be valid. Please fix the URL below, if needed, and click Continue.
i tried https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/connecting-to-ssl-services-802171215.html#HowtoimportapublicSSLcertificateintoaJVM-commandline this also but still no progress
The public certificate need to be imported in the Java keystore and then the Bamboo Instance has to be restarted. We will suggest you to restart the Apache (if exists), Jira and Confluence services once.
If you have imported and restarted the instance, can you share the error message from the log file ?
Thanks,

HI I had followed the same steps mentioned in this https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/connecting-to-ssl-services-802171215.html
Using command line and restarted the Jira service still it is failing with this error.

The error message you are getting "javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException", "PKIX path building failed", is due to the SSL. Please verify each point listed in the resolution(s) section as provided here
If any other application(s) is hosted on the same server and is using same java, then you need to restart both the applications.
Thanks,
Amith Mathur
