can i send a notification when i move an issue across projects?

i am looking for a way to send a notification (preferably as part of a notification scheme) when i move an issue from one project to another. haven't found anything online yet.

You can use the Issue Moved event in the notification scheme:

Hi Jobin, thanks for the response! So I may be missing something (and forgive me if I am being dumb) but I don't see where I'd trigger that event from when I select more actions --> move issue and then go through the move issue wizard.

The event is automatically thrown by the underlying code. You just need to add in the notification schemes to get notified.
