cloned issue appears on my Jira board even though I'm not assignee

1) I created an issue

2) a co-worker cloned my issue. There don't appear to be any references to me, or links to my story.

3) On the Jira Board, the story appears in my filter as Dev in Progress. Why?

At first I thought it was because the cloned issues were linked, but if I view in search results with Links column added, I don't see any links.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Joel

Hello,

What is your JQL filter, defined for your board (board settings -> general)? I guess, these issues are selected by this JQL query.

Sorry, I thought I could reply to the email to update this but I guess not.

Yes, the filter included "was assigned" which wasn't readily apparent looking at the ticket. Thanks.
