copy issue fields to zephyr fields

My Zephyr users want to create a Zephyr test from an existing JIRA issue and have the Zephyr test populated with the data from the originating JIRA issue.  Is this possible?  If so, how?

Hello Mary,

Currently Zephyr for JIRA lacks this feature available with native functionality. However this can be achieved by cloning the JIRA issue and changing the issue type of the cloned issue to issue type 'Test'. 

But please note that Test Details information will not be populated.
