how to delete an admin user in Jira?

Hello,

I am an admin in Jira and I want to delete another admin user. 

But when I try to delete or deactivate him, I get this error

"Cannot deactivate user because they are currently the project lead on these projects: ,,,, ..."

If anyone can help, please tell me how to delete him?

You just have to change the project lead of all the listed projects to another one, once completed, you should be able to deactivate (better than delete) him.

You need to go to the users & roles section within the admin part of your projects, there you will see the "edit defaults" link, that enables you to change the project lead
