Hi,

I have noticed that the native date field "Updated" is not updated when someone comments on the issue. Users are complaining about that behaviour, which seems to have occured upon our migration from 6.4 to 7.6.

I could not find anywhere where the behaviour of that field is documented.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Antoine

We use JIRA 7.12 server version.

I have not seen this problem: We don't need to refresh the issue screen (as suggested by Andris), after a Comment is added.

Once a Comment is saved, the issue's 'Updated' date field is automatically refreshed -- without refreshing the screen.

Hi Troy,

Thanks for your answer. I confirm that the date is not updating after refresh. Something weird though ; we have three Jira instances and this bug is present in only two of them. We are iso 7.6.0 on all of them (It was not me who made the upgrade).

Might it be a configuration setting disparity explaining this issue?
