How can I start the sdk with jire in a different application context? that means my base url should not be:

host:port/jira/

should be something like:

host:port/mycontext/

Same way you do a full installation of Jira - hack the server config files to make it live elsewhere. That change will be destroyed if you use atlas-clean, so you might want to keep a copy of the config outside your SDK

Yes, you follow the documentation for any other installation. The dev version does have some differences internally, but not at a Tomcat level
