upm jira firewall

cisco December 12, 2012

hi,

i'm trying to update some plugins.

catalina.out give me Failed to download https://marketplace.atlassian.com/download/plugins/com.atlassian.jira.plugins.jira-importers-plugin/version/77?from=upm
com.atlassian.sal.api.net.ResponseException: Connection refused

anyone can say to me which port must be opened on the firewall to get them?

Does your UPM have the latest version? If not, that might be the cause.

just try marketplace.atlassian.com

if you temporairly disable the firewall your jira can update plugins right?

yes. i can open traffic to maven.atlassian.com and marketplace.atlassian.com and check if there are new plugins etc etc. if i try to download others plugins it doesnt work cuz they have other public ip.

the workaroud says to do the white list to permit traffic to all subdomains of maven/marketplace.atlassian.com

i'd suggest allowing just what you need.

if it is those two hosts...try whitelisting them
