Red astricks for required field disappear for Time Spent field.

Hi,

Jira version 7.2.6

Jira Suite utiltiy 1.5.4

I made "Time Spent" Field required in workflow validator but the red astricks symbol disappear when doing the transition. When we do the transition without entering the value for Time Spent field then its saying its required and not allowing the transition. On the transition screen need to show red astricks for time spent. Can anyone facing this issue? How to resolve it? Is it problem with plugin and known issue ?
