Hello @Raju Anumula

You can take few different approaches for reducing the number of workflows, what I will do is follows -

  • Make a list of workflow schemes not mapped to any project
  • Make a list of workflows not mapped to any project
  • Try to find workflows which are similar in a way that they are using similar statuses and then you can club together workflows and remove redundant workflows.

I'm usually a little more brutal to start with.  Jira can tell you what it is using and enable some easy-ish housekeeping.  Go to the list of workflow schemes and delete as many of the "inactive" ones you can.  Then go to the list of workflows and remove all the inactive ones there as well.

That leaves you with a system where you know all your workflows are used by at least one project.  That's the point where you move on to Tarun's third line and start comparing the workflows.

You need to discuss those internally. Nobody here can give you a meaningful suggestion.
