Release version view in JIRA

Packialakshmi Subramanian June 25, 2018

Hi Team,

Business Users are using the current version view to understand about releases, hence it make sense for them to see Sprint number along with the Priority, Project Key, Summary, Assignee,Status and Development. Please refer the attached screenshot.

Please suggest me how we can add the field "Sprint name" in the Version view.

Please guide me.

Thanks,

Lakshmi

Hello @Packialakshmi Subramanian

Adding a new column (sprint) which displays sprint information is currently not possible and would require change in core jira code.  In your screenshot the issues listed have a link on top right called "view in issue navigator" when you click on that click you will be redirected to an issue navigator view where you can add "sprint" field in the default view and thus it will display sprint information. Same goes for if you click on "issues in version"(68) or "issue done" in all these cases you will see the link to issue navigator and thus you can display the sprint information but currently you can't add a new column in the version view of jira.
