There are articles and products that show how to update Sales Force (SFDC) from JIRA.
But has anyone done the other way around? I want to open a JIRA issue, when a user assigns a case to level 2 support group? I am reading about it, and not sure how to accomplish this. I would imagine this is a SFDC automation script. Has anyone done this?
Hi Edmond,
I'd like to invite you to check our Jira Connector from ServiceRocket which could help with these types of automation task by using API Methods which can be inserted inside your Salesforce custom Apex code, please check further details in this documentation entry (this will work for both Jira Cloud and Server environments):
NOTE: The sample Apex code included the call to our "createJiraIssue" API method is based on the Case object, but it could used in other default or custom Salesforce object within your Salesforce instance.
Please let me know if you'd like to know more details about our connector and in the meantime please check more details about this app and its pricing from this Atlassian Marketplace:
Best regards,
Juan
