Script Listeners - Issue Created event not fired

I am doing a simple validation on a custom field in script listener,but create event not firing once i submit create issue link..

Please clarify below points,

1. can i able to see log files related on event firing

2.Please give some example scripts related custom field validation

Hi, 

try to check if post function "fire event" exist for "create" transition.

Like that (3rd post function)

or that

above solution working on after issue created event,but i need to validate custom fields for before issue created event. and throw exception to UI

set transition validator for "create issue"-transition, than.

e.g "field not empty" validator.
