ScriptRunner customized field doesnt support ldap groups on JQL search

Batuhan Kandiran September 10, 2024

Hi Everyone,

I have created ScriptRunner's Scripted Field with searcher of Group Picker.

We using LDAP connection to retrieve user groups in our JIRA Data Center.

I want to display value of latest sub group that is selected from assignee/reporter users current groups.

i have used group picker searcher (single). all issues can be successfully created and successfully indexed.

When i write as JQL function AssigneeGroup is not EMPTY it returns true issues.

Also when i write AssigneeGroup != jira-administrators it returns true issues again.

When i write AssigneeGroup = RD-SW it returns nothing.

I want to ask question, how i can import LDAP groups in order to use them in group picker searcher in jql function. OR is there anyway to make search with success by writing "RD-SW" exact name of ldap groups.

Best regards for all.
