Select List custom field with colored values

Hello. 

Is there any way to add colored values or values with images inside select list custom field?

For example, "Test" select list custom field with two values: 

                                                           (!)value 1

                                                           (x)value 2

Can I convert (!) and (x) into images near values in select list like we do in description field?

There is no means of doing this OOTB.
