Setting of Epic link depends on Epic status

Hello,

Is there a way to restrict possibility to set/edit 'Epic link' in a story if parent's epic's status is e.g. 'In Progress'?

I assume you have scriptrunner (you added it as tag).

You can easily define a behavior to make the field Epic Link = read-only when the issue belongs to an Epic and that Epics status = In Progress.

thanks for your answer. I already tried to set that in Behaviours, but there is no condition for that - 

Or did you mean adding a script below? If yes, could you provide an example please, cause examples in scriptrunner's documentation don't contain any cases with Epic.
