Hello,
In one of our project we are using TCOE Project workflow and in this one of the Backlog mistakenly got updated in "Moved to Client Jira". But now we are not getting option to change its status back to Backlog in to do list. Would you please suggest whats the best solution for this to get resolved?
Thank you
Nidhi
Hi @Nidhi Sachin Jindal ,
Could You please check Your workflow? I suppose in workflow just no exist transition to back 'backlog' status.
B.R.
Yes, in the workflow there is 'Moved to Client Jira' added but under it no Transition has been added. So I am not how to remove it from there and how it will impact the projects which has the same workflow in use.

Hi
Maybe I misunderstand. Could You please clarify?
the Backlog mistakenly got updated in "Moved to Client Jira".
You mean in issues changed field status to new? E.g. field status=backlog then issue transited to status='moved..'.
Or You mean a workflow was changed status backlog to new 'moved..'?
For second ask Your administrator to create new workflow (with needed status) for You project.

Yes that's correct. Issue from field status=backlog got transited to status='moved..'.

For creating new workflow, not getting correct options to create. I am new in creating workflows, if you can suggest than would be great.
Thank you

For education and improve skill I recommend use test instance. Feel free download 'try it free' jira server and install to PC (if enough resource).

Briefly, WF define Your business process, like as path between task arose and task resolved.
