Story in sprint (To Do) show 0 sub-task even if there are subtasks

I have 4 Stories in a sprint (in To Do) all showing this even if there are sub-tasks in alla of them. Why? The board filter only says: project = SMU and the Quick filter only has a selection of Epic Link (all correct showing)

Annoyingly, the epic link does not cascade down to sub-tasks, so if you use "Epic link = X" or even "Epic link is not empty", it will exclude the sub-tasks, as they don't have it.

I encountered a similar problem. Except it wasn't and Epic Link or Quick Filter related.

  1. When accessing the active sprint (which used swimlanes = stories) and clearly the subtasks were present in this view...
  2. open a subtask from the sprint board
  3. from the subtask view click on the story number inn the upper left corner
  4. then close the story

This would result in all story swimlanes being collapsed and all subtasks of the stories to read zero (just like the original post. Clearing my cache fixed the issue.
