Hi folks. Looking for some assistance on this.
I want to have a template ticket that people can clone. However, I don't want people to be able to modify the template ticket. For example, I have several template tickets for onboarding people to different projects. Even though the Summary for these tickets clearly states "CLONE this ticket. DO NOT EDIT IT." people still end up editing the template ticket. I then have to create a new ticket and update all of my relevant onboarding docs with the new ticket number.
Is there a way to have a specific ticket(s) that can't be modified, other than by me or a Jira admin? These would be specific individual tickets in different projects. I looked at validators in workflows but didn't see anything that might work.
