Tempo JQL functions not working in search

Deepak Gunasekaran May 18, 2015

Hi All,

I am using JIRA v6.0.6 and Tempo Timesheets - 7.7.2

. I am trying to run the following query in the advanced search

Sprint in ("LE sprint 4") and team in ("qa")

but it results in error - "Field 'team' does not exist or you do not have permission to view it."

Do i need any permission ?

Hi Deepak,

the jql to find issues linked to a team via the Team Custom Field, this field must be available in the JIRA Issues. It uses the Team = "teamname" syntax.

To find Issues linked to teams that are part of a program,  Team in programTeams(" program name") is used.

No special permissions are needed to create a jql using the Team field. Please take also a look at https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEAMS020/Teams+JQL+Functions for more information.

Regards,

Susanne
