I have a Confluence 4.3.5 install that I'm testing and I get the following error when doing a test remote directory connection:
Test user can authenticate : Failed
Write operations are not allowed in read-only mode (FlushMode.NEVER): Turn your Session into FlushMode.AUTO or remove 'readOnly' marker from transaction definition.
The other tests come out ok with green checkmarks. Is this something I need to worry about and fix? I can still authenticate to Confluence with ldap accounts and permissions seem to be working. Please advise.
This is a bug report that was reported here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-25384
Its fixed for conf v 4.3.7, and even if you dont want to upgrade, it doesn't affect any functionality as per the bug report. :)
