The call to the Jira server did not complete within the timeout period. We are unsure of the result

Hi, we have a plugin that we wrote for our Jira Server with Java. I wrote a postfunction for http post request, it is working fine, the request successfully has been sent and received a response but in the meantime JIRA UI throws an error and the comment section which i write the response comes much later. I dont know how to solve this issue. Please help me

first of all you need to check on target rest api endopoint. In the meatine, please verify timeout on jira side https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-change-the-default-ajax-timeout-in-jira-server-824345485.html or, if you have a proxy check the timeout settings at that level.
